This website is aimed at primary to early secondary school pupils in order to develop the understanding and enjoyment of contemporary and 20th century sculpture in Cambridge. We hope it will become packed with useful teaching resources, shared ideas, creativity and inspiration!
Our Get Involved Guide will help you get started on a sculpture project. The step-by-step guide includes aims and learning objectives which can be adapted to suit your pupils. You will also find helpful information and worksheets in our resources section.
We also hope this site will act as a forum for sharing ideas, so if you have had a good idea for a sculpture project, why not share it with other teachers? If you need some inspiration, you should be able to find it by looking at other projects that have already been developed by other teachers.
Have your pupils been creative? If so, why not upload some photographs of their masterpieces? The gallery section is a showcase for creativity – it might also help inspire your pupils with some great ideas!
The links area is full of websites that will give you a wealth of sculpture related information to help supplement your learning resources.
We want this website to develop and grow, so, if you have feedback or ideas you would like to share, please email us.
